March 26, 2024 | Dr. Anthony Fauci, a physician, leading immunologist and infectious disease researcher, and advisor to seven U.S. presidents, most recently served as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. In July 2023, he joined Georgetown University as a distinguished university professor in the School of Medicine and the McCourt School of Public Policy. In this conversation, Dr. Fauci reviewed his career, shared insights from his contributions to science and health care, and discussed what public service means to him.
