As part of our Research in 60 Seconds series, UCF History master’s student Marie Oury, who works as a Lead Research Associate for Florida France Soldier Stories, memorializes Floridians who sought to liberate Europe and paid the ultimate price for their service. Her research shows how the lives lost during WWII matter to Florida communities — empowering UCF students to learn through this work.
