The Story of the Sealed Room, not to be confused with The Adventure of the Sealed Room, first appeared in The Strand Magazine in September 1898.
A young solicitor goes to the aid of a cyclist, who is knocked off his bike after colliding with a horse's shoulder. He is then drawn in to a curious mystery... involving a banker, a photographic studio, a soda syphon and a lump of red wax. The usual ingredients, then.
