Our first of many tests we plan to make with our workhorse G8.

The tune was changed for fueling only to accommodate the much lower airflow the MAF was seing with the stock intake.

Swapping to a ported and rodded intake would require tune changes as the ported one flows more, which in turn makes the MAF see more airflow, so it adds more fuel. That would make your car run richer and thus lose power from an improper AFR even though the ported intake is flowing more. Inversely, like in our case, we had to "add" fuel as
the stock intake was not seeing as much airflow so it showed lean, which makes more power on the dyno, but will not be safe or fast on the street/track.

I also believe this ported intake would show even larger gains with 100+ MPH air bwing pushed through it!
