If you have an older Remington 1100 shotgun that is chambered in 2 3/4 inch you may be able to get it converted to safely shoot 3 inch ammunition. This video explains how it can be done. Be sure to employ a professional gunsmith before making any attempts to modify or operate a shotgun other than how it was manufactured. These modifications must be made by professional gunsmiths.
