Who needs runways? This flight was great fun and it turned out to be a really worthwhile learning experience for me as a new helicopter pilot. I flew my wife Lizi from Leicester to Salisbury where we landed off-airfield at the racecourse. We had some rain to deal with and lots of military airspace and danger areas to navigate around.
