In this video I go over DIY steps to install the CCS Retrofit modification on a salvage/rebuilt title Tesla Model X. If you have a clean titled vehicle there is no real reason to do this DIY in North America as Tesla will provide you with the full CCS kit (includes CCS1 Adapter), install it, and update the vehicles configuration all for around $480 US. Currently the DIY method is going to cost around $1000 to get all those things lined up. Not cheap, but well worth it for a Salvage/Rebuilt title owner who hasn't (or cannot) have Tesla re-enable their Supercharging. Which costs a minimum of $800 IF your battery and High Voltage system are in pristine working order....one dent on the battery pack and you will spend $600 just to fail the inspection. I know, it happened to me!

Please feel free to contact me anytime in the comments or at [email protected] if you have any questions or need help getting hardware kits or help with the configuration change.
