It features the infamous Oubliette and saw prisoners housed here following the 100 Years War. Even Edward II's favourite, Piers Gaveston was imprisoned at Warwick. It's reputation as an amazing and impressive structure is one that sees hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world visit it each year.
