A bias judge causes a guilty mother to walk free, whilst another is wrongfully incarcerated for her daughters death.

Season 5, Episode 24 'Poison': A young girl is in a coma after ingesting detergent, and although her mother is suspected of poisoning her, a very biased judge makes the case difficult to prosecute, which eventually leads to an investigation into his past.
