Norfolk Southern local P29 (the New Bern to Morehead City turn) on the former Atlantic & East Carolina (EC-line) between Morehead City, Newport, and New Bern, NC.

I documented P29 that morning heading east through Wildwood and downtown Morehead City with NS 9931 solo. After picking up cars at the state port, P29 picked up three additional locomotives for the afternoon westbound return trip. The three additional motors were from a loaded Potash train, which came in the previous night. I followed P29 back to Newport, Havelock, and New Bern.

P29 regularly runs with one GE locomotive, so seeing four motors total was a very unique sight for this local turn job.
