This Chili Mac and cheese is a warming comfort food!
Ingredients
Chili:
1 lb beef
8 oz tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 chipotle in adobo
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tbsp beef bouillon
1 tsp sazon tropical
1/2 can diced tomatoes
bay leaf
salt/ pepper to taste
Mac and Cheese
12 oz elbow noodles
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
12 oz evaporated milk
1/2 cup heavy cream ( or more to adjust texture)
10 oz cheddar cheese
4 oz gouda
2 oz mozeralla
1/2- 1 tsp Vegeta ( use to taste)
*adjust cheese preference to taste. since there is chili going on top, you don't have to have a super cheesy mac for this to taste good. Remeber to reserve some for the top.
