Creeping Charlie is a difficult weed to control. I go into detail on why this is the case. Creeping Charlie sends out stolons or runners that create new plants. Many of these new plants at the end of the stems are so small that they do not have enough surface area for the Triclopyr or other herbicide to be absorbed. I believe many of these smaller plants survive. This makes Creeping Charlie very difficult to control with just spraying.
