Is it possible to make yourself a dress or skirt without a single seam? Can!
To do this, you only need a piece of fabric that can be wrapped around the figure so that you get a flowing dress.
The fabric should stretch well, thin knitwear or “butter” is suitable - a synthetic fabric with excellent stretch, it drapes well and flows on the figure.
Up to size 50, the fabric size can be taken 90x150 cm, where 90 cm is the length, 150 cm is the width, this is where the stretch should be. If your size is more than 50, then it is better to take the fabric width 170 cm.
Cut:
Fold the fabric in half along the 90 cm side. You need to step back 13–15 cm from the edge and draw a line.
From the fold we mark 22 cm and make a cut to this mark. We cut along the edges to a length of 23–25 cm. When unfolded, the cut in the middle is 44 cm, which is approximately the width of the back.
Of course, this dress is a beach dress.
There are several ways to tie a dress on yourself.
1) Place the part that is cut in the middle over your shoulders. We twist the outer ties at the front and tie them in a knot at the back.
The result is a V-neck and drape at the front.
2) Place the cut over one shoulder.
Cross the fabric at the front and tie the ties at the back. The result is that the dress emphasizes the waist.
3) Place the slit over the shoulders and pull the ties: right to left, left to right.
The result is a wrap dress.
4) Place the fabric over the shoulders and tie the ties at the front.
The result is a loose-fitting dress.
5) Place the dress at the back at the level of the shoulder blades.
Pull the ties forward to the chest area, twist them and tie the ties at the back.
6) Place the fabric at the back of the waist and take the ties.
We twist them at the front and tie them at the back. The result is a skirt.
7) We put the fabric on the shoulders and pull not the ties, but the fabric under them, tie the corners at the back.
8) Place the fabric at the back at the level of the shoulder blades.
At the front we place the fabric over the chest. We cross the ties in the center of the chest, lowering them under the breasts.
For everything to work out, in each case the fabric must be stretched well and all folds straightened.
