Preparation of any surface prior to decorating is the most important part of the job but so easily overlooked by the home DIYer. It’s so important to either use a sealer or primer on bare drywall/plasterboard. I’ll be using a sealer from Zinsser called Gardz on my walls as I will be specifically applying lining and wallpaper.
