In this video we walk through an OSPF configuration together and I discuss the commands I am using and their effect. All the while showing you the various show commands you would use to validate OSPF's operation on Cisco routers. Below are the commands we'll be using in this live lab demonstration:

Show Commands:
show ip protocols
show ip ospf interface [brief]
show ip ospf neighbors
show ip ospf database
show ip ospf rib [detail]
show ip route [ospf]

Configuration Commands:
router ospf {process ID}
router-id {router-id}

Adding Interfaces to OSPF:
network {network ID} {wildcard mask} area {#}
ip ospf {process ID} area {#}
