One of the features on the Carnival Hub App is the ability to be able to communicate with people in you party and those you add. The App Chat feature is charged for but the cost is minimal.

To use the Carnival App Chat everybody who wants to chat has to join and pay the fee. On our cruise it was AU$8 each for the entire cruise.

The App Chat is a really useful feature to be able to stay in touch with people during the cruise and we made a lot of use of it.

This is definitely worth doing, especially if you have kids and need to keep in contact with them.
