I show you from start to finish how to change the fluid and filter on the Ford 6R80 transmission in my 2013 F-150 FX4. Plus as an extra bonus, I install a new transmission oil pan with a drain plug. Also featured is a quite useful pump assembly that allows you to refill the transmission easily and without the frustration and mess that comes with a suction gun.

👍 Upon additional research, I discovered that Mercon fluid turns the brownish color as in my video even when it is newly changed. However, it should not have any "burned" smell to it. It is Dextron that retains it's red color until worn or burned and is what I am used to working with. Hence, my reaction.....
