We're excited to introduce you to Oralie Smith, our 2022 Telling Your Story Award recipient! Oralie married into the lifestyle of dairy farming and fully welcomed the various opportunities that followed.

Recently, she participated in the adopt-a-calf program and connected students with the process of raising dairy cows. Oralie corresponded with classrooms to send regular updates about their adopted calves. Oralie said, "I would get letters in the mail from kids who said, 'I have never seen a calf!'"

Oralie was recognized at the 2023 Dairy West Annual Meeting.
