Nate Bargatze made afrin addiction a central part of his monologue on a SNL (Oct 29, 2023) show. This nasal decongestant spray addiction is a medical condition known as rhinitis medicamentosa. Safe to use for a few days a month, but if used more frequently, can CAUSE severe nasal congestion and obstruction resulting in constant use. Keep in mind that only the DECONGESTANT nasal sprays have this risk.
