Rocko's Modern Life was a Nicktoon that was never really afraid to go where others wouldn't. It would push the boundaries of what a cartoon could portray. Mostly, that would be in the form of innuendos and adult jokes that would fly over the head of the show's young audience. However, they also weren't afraid to poke at real world issues. These kinds of references are important in my opinion...
