It certainly wasn’t in our minds, and we certainly wouldn’t have called it disco, we thought it was R&B. We liked The Stylistics and The Delfonics and people who sang falsetto. That was interesting to us because of our new found falsetto thing. So we weren’t thinking in terms of what you might call the music.”
