The Sorcerer's Hat at Disney's Hollywood Studios was once the icon of the park. The grand centerpiece, modelled after the hat from Disney's Fantasia, to act as a new decoration for the recent 100 Years of Magic Celebration. But as the celebration went away, and Walt Disney World's newest icon didn't go with it, reception to the Disney World's magic hat grew more critical, as the hat blocked the Chinese Theatre, and drew attention away from Disney MGM Studios' Earffel Tower, and the structure gained a reputation as Disney World's most controversial building.
