Hello to everyone out there,

in this video I am restoring an Italian Coffee Legend. The ever popular hand lever coffee machine La Pavoni Euroccipola.
It is a pre-millennium model from 1979 and is very popular with collectors. It is considered one of the best coffee machines in the world when operated correctly.
My girlfriend's birthday is coming up i decided to give her a coffee machine like this one because she loves la pavoni espresso and la pavoni machines.
Since I don't like plastic, I'm replacing all the plastic handles on the vintage La Pavoni portafilter (in german known as Siebträgermaschine) with custom wooden handles made from birdseye maple.I therefore refer to it as "restomod" and not "restoration".
I polish up the chrome which was in a bad condition. With a few parts I have to renew chrome plating using tampon galvanic.
and I use powder coating for the rusted base in RAL 6027 "light green".
