We recently replaced our single-room Ductless Mini Split with a Slim Concealed-Duct Mini Split system to provide AC and heat to the whole house (~570sf) in a more energy and cost-efficient way than a traditional central HVAC system. This was our first time dealing with a ducted system and we were presented with a number of challenges along the way. It was a bumpy road to the finish line but we learned a lot and, in the end, managed to pull it off. This video covers the steps taken to install the unit from mounting the handler to preparing the lines. It is, however, not intended to be instructional. Much of the work seen here will require help from a professional.
