2. The Ocellated Turkey has vibrant, brilliant feathering with eye-catching patterns all over its body.
3. They resemble peafowl in terms of their unique designs and colour.
4. This turkey is 28 to 48 inches long, has a 67-inch wingspan, and weighs 6 to 11 pounds.
5. Instead of flying, they prefer to run. Although they can fly well for a short distance.
6. Their diet consists of beetles, moths, ants, grains, seeds, nuts, and leaves.
7. Sadly, this species is near threatened due to overhunting for sport and food.
