Brighton post-punkers Squid started making waves after a string of original singles showcasing their tension-filled, nervy sound drawing on influences as far flung as dub, This Heat-style experimentation and classic 70s British post punk. Their anxious debut Bright Green Field shone a light on Britain's modern malaise and saw them heralded alongside contemporaries Black Midi and Black Country, New Road for signposting exciting new directions for English rock. They bring tunes from their latest album O Monolith to Echoes with Jehnny Beth.
