Sound of Metal is a film that says a lot by saying a little. It's an ingenius telling of a drummer who tragically begins to lose his hearing and how he deals with that. Defintely a very interesting film and it was easily one of my favourite's of 2020.. So I thought it was worth making a video about but it desereved more than just your average "SOUND OF METAL MOVIE REVIEW" video - I wanted to take a deep dive so this is a little video essay type thing discussing the meaning behind the film and more specifically talking about the main character in Ruben himself and focusing on his character development regarding how he deals with loss. (So spoilers ahead guys, this video is for people who have seen the movie or do not mind finding out what happens by the end of Sound of Metal)
