Featured is the Armageddon game between World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen and Viswanathan Anand from Round 1 of the 2019 Altibox Norway Chess tournament. We observe an English opening with Anand opting for the Kramnik-Shirov Counterattack. An imbalance of minor pieces quickly surfaces, and a critical moment is reached by move 12 where Carlsen plays a zwischenzug in Nxe5. Anand's instinctual reply seems completely natural, but in reality it is a grave mistake which allows the World Chess Champion to both maintain an extremely powerful dark-squared bishop, and play for two results.
