Data from December 2023 shows a significant increase in copper scrap imports by China from Russia, exceeding 6,400 tons. Historically, Russia hasn't been a major exporter of copper scrap. Interestingly, Russian data for the same period shows a much smaller export figure of just 73 tons. This discrepancy raises questions about the nature of the imported material.
