I've owned my EQS 580 for over 4 months now and I am STILL learning how to maximize my charging experience at the Electrify America stations. This week's 1,100 mile trip to Florida and back taught me two things: 1) Set your destination as the charging station, not the address for the charging station; 2) If you want the fastest charging speeds, your battery needs to be sufficiently drained - the lower the percentage, the higher the charging speed your car will take. Not mentioned in the video - the car's driving assist features saved the day. I covered the 1,111 miles between 10:00am on Friday and 6:00pm Saturday (with a layover in Orlando). While I was always alert and had to touch the wheel every 45 seconds, not having to constantly drive and monitor my speed left me much more refreshed at the end of the drive than I could have hoped for without it.
