I decided to pick up the Ryobi ONE+ 18-Volt Rotary Tool. I own and have used many Dremel products over the years, and they are generally good. I figured I'd add to my Ryobi collection and check out this desktop model, where the motor mechanism is in the base, and the "business end" is on a cable.

My only issue was that I assumed it was both battery AND A/C powered, like my Soldering Station, Bluetooth Speaker, and Work Lights. But in this case, it ONLY works on Battery...

However, so far I am impressed with the design. That was my bad, for not fully reading the box when I picked it up. These are available of course at your local Home Depot (not a sponsor) or from Amazon (affiliate link):

In this video, I simply open the box, test out a few features, and give you my overall first impression of the tool. I do believe it will be a permanent part of my work bench, even if I have to use an 18-Volt battery to operate it.

On the plus side, the benefit of that is that I can use it "out in the field" if the need were to arise, though it is, by its very design, geared toward a desk/workbench type of situation...
