We invited Zach Johnson to race our Class 1 car and he said yes! Between a snow storm in Oregon and then a tornado at Zach's house, getting Zach out to drive this car has been a challenge. Instead of racing my car last year I ended up going out and meeting Zach at the Cleetus and Cars race in Bristol, Tennessee. After meeting Zach, I was even more convinced he was going to love driving our desert car.
We had a great race going but ended up getting stuck when we slipped off the side of the road. It got worse when we got out of the snow drift but then ended up stuck on a stump. I am pretty sure it was the only stump in a 25 mile radius.
After getting pulled off the stump, we found ourselves pulled over with a flat tire and a jack that decided it was no longer part of our team.
We finished the race with a broken jack, a flat tire, and three bruised egos.
