DJ Khaled released his 12th studio album, Khaled Khaled this week. The 14 track project features a bevy of music notables including DaBaby, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake and more.

By far the most discussed track so far is the sultry “Sorry Not Sorry” featuring Nas, Jay Z, and James Fauntleroy.

Nas had twitter goin’ wild with a particular part of his verse:

"I'm coin-based, basically cryptocurrency Scarface"

Nas is referencing his much talked about investment into cryptocurrency trading platform, Coinbase. His investment firm, Queensbridge Venture Partners invested somewhere between $100,00 and $500,000 into the company’s $25 million Series B round of funding back in 2013.

Coinbase went public in April 2021, and Nas’ stake in the windfall is estimated to be worth between $40 million and $201 million. Congratulations, God’s Son. It’s all happening.

This video breaks down what I don't like about how Nas is musically trending.
