A neat place to watch trains in Bay City, Michigan is at DeFoe Park. Here, the wye for the Huron and Eastern and Lake State Railway cut between two baseball diamonds, next to the parking lot and skatepark. Here, we see a curious kid step very close to the oncoming train. Thankfully, the child moved away seconds before the train came.

Power for the grain train extra was SD70M #6435 and #6432. Both are ex-Union Pacific power, and look great in LSRC painted livery. The empty grain train was heading to Standish, Michigan for The Andersons.
