Feel the Big Bad Wolf, the brutal "bounty hunter" who chases Puss in Boots throughout the movie, his character is everything you could want from a movie villain. The wolf can cause fear and intimidation. All of these factors culminate in a twist in the third act that reveals Wolf's true intentions, further enhancing the film's excellent story.
The wolf, being the physical embodiment of death, has a large number of different abilities. He is an exceptionally skilled and strong fighter, able to take on the legendary swordsman Puss in Boots very well.
Death is very strong, he can break crystals with his blades without any effort and has some control over fire, as shown when he created a ring of fire around himself and Puss for their final duel. He is also unaffected by the normally dangerous or deadly traps, as evidenced by being completely immune to the Darkwood's influence and effortlessly passing through a star wall that completely vaporized one of a dozen bakers. He also has the ability to appear and disappear when and where he chooses. This is evidenced by the way Death appears several times to Puss in Boots with no sound other than his iconic whistle.
The Wolf is a complex, menacing and entertaining villain who can turn a good movie into a great one.
