Our reasons for supporting Israel during this horrific time should not be based on the misguided Biblical interpretation of "Christian Zionists," who believe that we must support Israel in order for Christ to return, and for us to be on the right side. It is never wise to try to force the Bible to fit our molds; we should instead seek God's guidance for how to live now, in the future, and even in the End Times.
