Recently, a large amount of Rocket League freestylers were banned from playing Rocket League for 30 days. At first, everyone was confused. Why would Psyonix suddenly start banning an extremely active community that's been around since the game's release?

Psyonix banned the activity of an entire community in Rocket League. Freestyling is going to have to change entirely. There are a lot of players that don't understand the full story or the reason why this is such a big deal. Lots of people think that Psyonix is totally in the wrong or that Rocket League freestylers are these malicious and selfish players out to get everyone. In reality, no one is perfectly innocent in the situation. In this video, I explain the arguments both sides are making and why it's really just an unfortunate situation that had to be handled by Psyonix eventually. It just could have been done in a much better way.
