Today we archive an awesome game that is exclusive and stuck on the PlayStation 4. Sakura Wars is a new entry in the Sakura Wars series and combines various genres to create a very unique experience. On one hand its a social and dating simulator in the same sense as a Persona game, but on the other hand its also a Musou game in the style of Dynasty Warriors.
You play the part as a new head captain of a squad of actresses who serve the population of Japan by getting into giant mechs and fighting evil monsters. When you are not talking to the various inhabitants of the theatre, you are mowing your way through hundreds of bad guys in a satisfying manner.
There are even multiple endings depending on which girl you end up with and the dialogue is sometimes surprisingly funny. There are some sidequests to do here and there, but luckily none of them are too time consuming. Overall it was just a very chill experience. The game never gets too difficult and has a very slow tempo which made it great to play while I laid back and relax during cold or rainy days. Sakura Wars now definitely is on my radar and I will archive the other games in this series the future as well.
