Welcome to Cross Training Adventure, we are into all things dual sport and adventure on the east coast of Australia. There are lots of these dirt roads I never explored because I couldn't see the point if you just have to turn around. But one of the guys said 'What's at the end of this road?' We have ridden past this turn-off at least 100 times in the past decade. And what a great road it proved to be! I am showing this in Gopro's Time Warp so you can see the entire road in less than two minutes. If you ride a lot, eventually you have to keep going further and further to find new roads to explore. This has been a growing problem for me. But I suddenly realised there are probably lots of great dead-end dirt roads I have ignore the past 15 years. Keen on adventure riding in Australia? If you are into filming, Time Warp is a handy feature. Despite the speed, Gopro applies maximum stablisation to keep things smooth. Check out our reviews of various adventure bikes and dual sport bikes. And it makes a big difference if you don't keep turning your head of course. You can set different speeds but I just leave it on Auto. The camera automatically picks up the speed when you are going slow, and vice versa when you are going fast... perfect for motorbike riding. There's also Time Lapse for when the camera is stationary. There is no digital stabilisation. I've only used this a handful times. For example, this scene of getting ready for a dirt ride. And some time lapse of sunrises and the night sky during the outback tour. It's strange how I have been doing these videos for years but only just exploring these extra features on the Gopro now. We have occasional detours to places like Vietnam, Cambodia, Romania and Canada. This is one of our three channels, there's also a Cross Training Trials channel, and a Cross Training Enduro channel. And we have a world record 25 class action lawsuits for inaccurate information. We think the whole motorbike scene is getting too commercial. So the Cross Training Adventure focus is just get out there and have fun on two wheels. Instead of obsessing over the latest blinged out Beemer, which tyres to fit or spending a fortune on your suspension or billet alloy gas cap. So most of our adventure riding vids will feature the much loved bush pig, the Suzuki DR650. So called dual sport riding reviews are just glossy ads nowdays. Everyone is trying to sell you stuff you don't need, convince you to buy the latest model with anodized coffee cup holders for your trips to the coffee shop. Of course if you are cashed up and into bling, go for it. All we are saying is there's also the budget option for adventure riding. And it won't hold you back. Why? We reckon it's 80% the rider and 20% the bike. And we've done a 10 part series on how to unleash the mighty beast that lurks within. What else? Cross Training Adventure actively avoids sponsorship. We like doing seriously critical reviews. Manufacturers make some really bad mistakes. and there is a lot of dodgy crap being sold out there.
