I've run a small Karcher K2 pressure washer for over 10 years for those small DIY and Handyman jobs. It has never let me down, but it is on the lower end of the power spectrum. This year when faced with the annual garden path cleaning job, I finally decided to get a more powerful machine, a medium sized Gerni 5000 from Bunnings, and see if I could cut the amount of time the job takes down. The Gerni also came with a patio cleaner head and a foam sprayer accessory, so I will test these out and see if they are also going to be useful additions or just a waste of money.
