Hello wilderness explorers, welcome back from another New Zealand adventure VLOG!

In today's video I'm taking you on a 4-day trip through the Marlborough Sounds. We'll start by taking the InterIslander Ferry from Wellington across the channel to Picton, the gateway city to exploring the South Island of New Zealand. From here we'll take a water taxi to Mistletoe Bay, where we'll walk part of the Queen Charlotte Track. Each night of the trip we'll be staying in a new, unique place along the Queen Charlotte route. Once our trip is complete, we'll make our way back to Picton before we ferry back to Wellington!

The Marlborough Sounds are a network of ancient sunken river valleys at the northern tip of the South Island of New Zealand. They form a stunning labyrinth of sea-drowned valleys, islands, and peninsulas. The Sounds are characterized by their picturesque beauty, with forested hillsides, tranquil bays, and crystal-clear waters.

The Queen Charlotte Track is a renowned 73-kilometer (approximately 44-mile) hiking trail that traverses the spectacular landscapes of the Marlborough Sounds. The trail encompasses a diverse range of terrains, from peaceful bays and secluded coves to dense native bush and panoramic vistas. We won't be exploring the entire track on this trip, but we will experience a small portion of it.

We absolutely loved exploring this unique part of New Zealand! If you want to join me for future VLOGS where I discover natural destinations all around the world, SUBSCRIBE for more!
