In this video I demonstrate how I hand tool a piece of vegetable tanned leather for a special customer named Patrick. He wanted to have the ‘dancing bear’ as well as an ‘apple’ in the design ;-) I carve the design and then paint the leather with acrylic paint. We finish everything off with the super messy but totally awesome antiquing process using Fiebings Antique Paste. Thanks for watching!!!
