With the Young Buggy finally hauled up to the mine, we started mucking out the 130 South muck bay. This will be our primary laydown and staging area when we begin driving on the 130 North to access a possible ore zone identified by historic diamond drilling.

Even using a single truck, we were able to achieve 10-15 tons per hour. Truck cycle time is about ten minutes and loading time is about the same. This indicates 50% LHD utilization; adding a second truck will essentially double production with good traffic control procedures.

So far we've mucked 30 tons, which is about half of the total in the muck bay. There is an additional muck bay at around the 100 level; mucking it is also a high-priority item. Timbering the escapeway raise is the other high-profile task we plan to tackle before the end of the year.
