This puff pastry beef roulade just looks festive, but it's actually pretty easy to make. Perfect for midweek dinner, holidays or any occasion. Ground beef wellington.

* Makes two roulades
Ingredients
1 Puff pastry sheet
2-3 tablespoons Olive oil
1 Onion, chopped
3 Garlic, minced
500g Ground beef
2 tablespoons Tomato paste
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1-2 teaspoons Paprika
1-2 teaspoons Cumin
1 teaspoon Oregano
2 tablespoons Parsley
Egg for brushing
Sesame seeds

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 190C (375F). Prepare 2 baking trays lined with parchment paper and set aside.
2. In a pan, heat olive oil, add chopped onion and sauté until golden. Add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart until no longer pink.
3. Add tomato paste, salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, oregano and mix well. Turn the heat off, add chopped parsley and mix. Set aside to cool.
4. Open the puff pastry sheet, spread half of the meat mixture in the center, cut and old the pastry as shown in the video.
5. Repeat the process with the second pastry.
6. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle some sesame seeds.
7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
8. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
