Alfred Lin is a partner at Sequoia Capital, where he focuses on consumer and enterprise investments and co-leads Sequoia’s early-stage investment business in the United States and Europe. He is a director of Airbnb (ABNB), Cobalt Robotics, Dia & Co., Dolls Kill, DoorDash (DASH), Found, Houzz, Kalshi, Citadel Securities, Truework, and Zipline, and was previously on the boards of Achievers (HAWK), FutureAdvisor (BLK), Humble Bundle (JCOM), and Shopular (Ebates/Rakuten). He is also on the advisory board of FTX.

Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 2010, Alfred was a seasoned operator and held a variety of roles across technology startups including chairman and COO/CFO of Zappos.com (AMZN), VP of Finance and Business Development of Tellme Networks (MSFT), and VP of Finance of Link Exchange (MSFT). Alfred also co-founded Venture Frogs, LLC and invested in companies such as Ask Jeeves (IACI), OpenTable (OPEN), Tellme Networks (MSFT), and Zappos.com (AMZN).

Alfred also serves as a board trustee at Code.org. He has a B.A. in applied mathematics from Harvard and an M.S. in statistics from Stanford.
