Hello! So this video is our same Thailand trip we took in 2018. One of our excursions, was a day trip to James Bond Island. So normally, you can buy your tour tickets through many travel agencies throughout the city like we did our day trip to Phi Phi. But this time we found a father/son who have a long tail boat and rent it for the day with them as your tour guide. We were referred to them by our week long taxi driver. They were his friends. So we rented this long tail boat for $200 for the day which was a good rate given that had we gone through a travel agency we would have paid about $65 per person in a boat with a bunch more other people and it was 5 of us. So I would recommend you ask your taxi drivers and hotel staff if they personally know anybody willing to give you personal tours. We were able to go other places not just James Bond Island, unfortunately, the weather wasn't that great and I didn't get footage of the other activities we did but we basically went to JBI first. Spent the morning there, then we went to another Island to have lunch and shop and then before we went home we went to a secluded beach sitting on the sand with our own bartender and spent the afternoon sipping on Mai Thai's. It was perfect. It was basically from 6 am - 7 pm. Had the weather been better and not raining we could have gone snorkeling yet again but the weather just didn't allow us to.
