Two old guy's explore with truck and camper the Yukon and northern BC.
in this episode we travel down to Atlin BC in beautiful weather, the town and the lake are so beautiful, the view to the mountains from Atlin across the lake is breathtaking, but agin like so many days before, later in the afternoon, rain and fog showed up so we stopped at the rest place next to the Hitchcock Cree. A nice boon docking place with outhouses and some fire pits. Still the same the cold and wet weather the other morning when we drove to Carcross and further down to Conrad Campground. The weather cleared up and we drove to the newest build campground in Yukon. Amazing walk trail above the campground and above the windy Lake arm. We enjoyed beautiful views of the mountains and the blue lake. Lots of interesting details from the past in this area. The other morning we drove to Fraser and visited the rocky landscape with the many ponds. Again the weather was not so super but the views and the travel along the road towards Skagway Alaska is a trip worth.
The next morning we visited Carcross and spend some money and time in the Matthew Watson General Store. A visit you need to make. Super interesting stuff you can buy!
