This is a cheap, easy, nutritious, and tasty pasta meal you can dehydrate yourself for any backcountry trip. In this video, we will show you how to make the meal, how to dehydrate, and how to rehydrate.

Ingredients:
- Two jars of your favourite, tomato-based pasta sauce
- One can of tomatoes (chopped are easiest to dehydrate)
- Pasta (we use small shells because they cook quickly)
- 1 cup dry red lentils (rinsed)
- Mixed Italian seasoning (to taste)

Optional:
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2-4 garlic cloves (crushed)
- Half an onion (we usually use sweet onion)
- 1 zucchini
- Cremini mushrooms (we didn't have any when filming this, but usually include them)
