These swords go by many names, Zweihander, Schlachtschwert, Spadone, Montante etc, but in English are today commonly called Greatswords. All terms for the family of massive two handed swords, the largest ever used in Europe, and typically ranging between 5' to 7' long. Jordan is using a Black Fencer v4 Montante synthetic, and Nick a custom version of the Black Fencer Flamberge model made to the same length as the V4 Montante. Therefore these training swords are near identical in spec, at 162cm long, 2.2kg total weight, and within a completely realistic specs for this size of montante or greatsword. Hence they are used with care and control as they can generate a lot of force.
