Trevor Milton is waiting to start a four-year prison sentence for defrauding investors. The FT is out with a piece on Trevor Milton's attempts to put his buddies on the Nikola board, including reality TV star Dave Sparks aka "Heavy D".

The brazenness is shocking to say the least! Milton, Kalanick and Neumann are all cut from the same cloth. So is Musk by the way, the only difference being that his companies actually make products that work (but he has also had his share of hype including Boring company, Hyperloop etc)

The Nikola Motor Company scandal is a wakeup call in these hype-fueled times. Remember, not everything that shines is gold! Stay skeptical, do your homework, and spread your investments to avoid getting burned.
